SomaFM is a San Francisco based internet radio station broadcasting 39 channels of music in a wide range of genres including 70’s, alternative, ambient, Americana, folk, jazz, rock and many more. The station is listener supported relying on voluntary contributions from its listeners and when we tuned in at noon (UK BST) they had some 7.5k listeners. The station offers a wide range of audio formats including 128kbps and 256kbps MP3 and 32kbps 64kbps and 128kbps AAC.
